BREAKING NEWS – Sacramento, California – According to the Chancellor of California Community Colleges Chancellor Eloy Ortiz Oakley, algebra is racist. He is alleging that the the system of mathematical equations discriminates against minorities and low-income students. Oakley expressed support for the removal of advanced math courses in his community college system, calling it a “civil rights issue.” He later doubled down in his position, saying reading is also a stumbling block, and by 2018, he plans on having all books in the colleges that he oversees, remove every book that has “numbers and letters”. He explained, “that this will give more time for the students to sit in class all day long, and discuss why it is so difficult to get a job in this bigoted society.”
