BREAKING NEWS – Morristown, New Jersey – High school senior Rachel Canning is suing her parents because she wants them to pay for her private-school tuition, college tuition, and living expenses after she was allegedly kicked out. Canning’s father, retired Lincoln Park Police Chief Sean Canning, told The Daily Record of Parsippany that his daughter left home on her own accord because she didn’t want to abide by reasonable household rules, such as being respectful, keeping a curfew and doing some chores. Rachel responded by saying that she has at least 20 witnesses that will testify that both her “insensitive parents” embarrassed her regularly during her sophomore and junior year in high school, when they would constantly show up at the strip club she was performing at unannounced, demanding that she clothed herself, immediately leave the facility, and get started on her homework.
