The other day, a non-Christian friend asked me why didn’t Jesus ever quote any scriptures out of the New Testament. He said if it was such an important book, why didn’t Jesus read from it. He immediately apologized as I buckled over. He thought I was crying because I was offended, but in reality, I was stifling my laughter from his new level of stupidity.
