Dear Blake,
What is a proper tip to leave a server at an all-you-can-eat buffet? They bring water and bus the table, but we get our own food and drinks. They certainly don’t work as hard as servers in a sit-down restaurant.

Dear Dennis,
The answer is, you should not leave any tip to the servers there, but instead ask them for a few dollars because you had to serve yourself. If they refuse to give you any money, write a bad review about them on Yelp, and report a bogus allegation to the local health department. I hope this helps.
