I have read your advice column often, and here is my question. Don’t you feel that your opinion will be respected more, if you didn’t regularly insult the people that write to you?

Dear Andrew,
Gaining respect is something that is very important to me. But I don’t want it from anyone that lives in Nevada. According to the NEA, you guys have the dumbest students of all 50 states. Unfortunately, logic compels me to disregard your opinion. In other words, no one from you states is intelligent enough to give an accurate assessment on how stupid I am. I hope this helps.
