I’m a really shy person, and I have trouble meeting women to start a relationship. I joined Facebook, but women I’m interested in always ask me why won’t I post a picture of myself. I’m a loner and I don’t like crowds. I also try to meet women locally through Craigslist, but none of them will agree to meet me in a quiet remote location. Please give me some advice.

Dear Larry,
A lot of men are shy about meeting women, so what you feel is quite common. But your approach suggests to me that more than likely, you’re a serial killer looking for vulnerable victims. I would not be surprised that the only things you have in the trunk of your car other than a spare tire, is a rope, some duct tape, and a shovel. Why can’t you put a snapshot of yourself on Facebook? If you don’t have a photograph, try going online and getting a picture of you that was drawn by a police sketch artist. If you want to be in a support group to be around men that have your same affliction, there are plenty of them that have regular meetings on death row., and even more burning in hell. However, you appear to have one redeeming quality. You said you would like to meet these women in a remote location. That suggests to me that you are considerate to your neighbors, because you apparently do not want to wake them up as you approach your unsuspecting victims while starting a chainsaw.
