Dear Blake.

I am ten years old and in the fifth grade. It’s this one girl that I really like, and I follow here everywhere she goes while we’re in school, even though she doesn’t know it. Yesterday I gave her a Valentine’s card right after they let us out for school. Do you think that will be enough for her like me?

Dear Stanley,

Little boys your age often develop crushes on little girls. But you following around without her knowing it has really freaked me out! Maybe she notices you, and tries to avoid you like the plague. Your mindset suggests to me, that when you grow up, you’ll probably be a drifter, that never stays in the same town more than a few days. Do you enjoy watching slasher movies? Have you ever wished that your hands were claws? You are way too young to be this creepy. On the other hand, maybe the girl that has your heart dangling on a string, will respond to your token for her affection. So don’t be surprised if she gives you a card on Monday to let you know how she feels about you that’s written in her own words. It just might be poetic, but for the life of me, I can’t think of any word that rhymes with “restraining order”. I hope this helps.
