BREAKING NEWS – Los Angeles, California – The NAACP’s Los Angeles chapter president Leon Jenkins resigned following scrutiny of his decision to honor Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling with a civil rights award for the second time. Sterling over the years has given several million dollars to the local chapter, suggesting to critics that he was indirectly buying the award. Jenkins who was formerly a judge in Michigan and was later disbarred for taking bribes, has caused many people in Los Angeles to believe that NAACP now stands for “Not Against Any Cash Payments.”
