BREAKING NEWS – Houston, Texas – The U.S. Attorney is now investigating Joel Osteen, who is the pastor of Lakewood Church due to the megachurch’s current program. The televangelist has been lending $100.00 to members of his congregation, and if they will pay him back $1000.00, he said he will communicate with God on their behalf daily, telling Him their financial needs. Osteen was recently given a “cease and desist” letter from the district attorney, informing him that what he was doing is illegal, unethical, and there is no such thing as a “prayday loan”.
