BREAKING NEWS – Washington D.C. – Vice President Joe Biden apologized to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for accusing him of allowing foreign fighters to cross into Syria when he was speaking at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government a few days earlier. Biden spoke directly to Erdogan to “clarify” comments made on Thursday at Harvard University and apologized for “any implication” that he, or other allies had intentionally supplied or helped in the growth of the Islamic State or other extremists groups in Syria. This is the second time Biden had to apologize to Turkey in as many years. Last November Biden “misspoke” when he told Erdogan, that “all Americans have always been grateful to the contributions from your country every Thanksgiving”.
