BREAKING NEWS – New Orleans, Louisiana – Ray Nagin, the former mayor who rose to national prominence during Hurricane Katrina, loses his appeal for a new trial, after he was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for his participation in a $500,000 bribery and conspiracy scheme that operated during most of his time in office. The Louisiana Circuit Courts of Appeal rejected his attorney’s argument that Nagin was emotionally disoriented and under “tremendous stress” caused by President Bush. The court documents are alleging that Hurricane Katrina was created by “weather controlling machines” invented by scientists appointed by Bush, in an attempt to “use flood waters to wash black people right out of the city once and for all.”
