BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Lego’s is under fire from a parent’s group for producing a wheelchair character using a Duplo figure, because they believe the toys will create prejudice against those with disabilities. A spokesman for Lego responded by saying that the new figure does not have a permanent disability. The toy company further explained that “To be more representative of today’s society and mindset, the man in the wheelchair is a former employee that faked an on-the-job injury so he can apply for worker’s comp, gouge his company in a lawsuit, and to extract from the federal government all temporary and permanent handouts. We apologize for the understandable confusion.”
