BREAKING NEWS – Baltimore, Maryland – The man who set a CVS on fire during the April riots in Baltimore will spend four years in prison. Raymon Carter, who pleaded guilty in September, was sentenced Tuesday in federal court. After his prison sentence, Carter will serve three years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $500,000 in restitution. Federal prosecutors said surveillance video shows Carter going into the CVS at Pennsylvania and North avenues and walking around the store. He then goes out of camera view for a few seconds before flames are seen coming from the area, and he runs out of the store. Al Sharpton is now defending him, alleging that the flames which consumed the store is CVS’ fault, for not having any fire extinguishers available for Carter to use, just in case he changed his mind after pouring gasoline on the floor.
