BREAKING NEWS – Whitesboro, New York – Folks in a central New York village want to keep the community’s official logo, which appears to show a white man choking a Native American, even though critics call it racist. The seal appears on village police cars, signs and stationery. Controversy has waxed and waned over the years and came to a head last summer, when an online petition was posted by someone who saw the logo and took offense. The people of the small town stated that they want to keep the log because of its historical value. They said it is a reminder when General Custer and his troops were massacred by “Indians”, the Sioux had no right to resort to violence against western Caucasians settlers that were peacefully trying to steal their land.
