BREAKING NEWS – Mexico City, Mexico – Speaking from Mexico as he departed from a weeklong tour in which he spoke before millions, Pope Francis I took a direct shot at Donald Trump, who has made his plan to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it a centerpiece of his campaign. “If this man is considering building walls on the southern border, he is not a Christian and this is not the Gospel” said the Pope. When asked on why the Vatican is surrounded by walls, the Pope responded, “The wall itself is not the issue, it’s the reason why they were constructed. Trump wants them to stop immigrants from entering the U.S. that are seeking a better life. The Vatican has walls to protect nervous priests who are hiding from parents that have hurled violent threats at them for ‘improperly’ touching their sons.”
