BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – A Somali man accused of leading mass executions and torturing people during the country’s bloody civil war in the 1980s has been quietly working as a security guard at a Washington, D.C., airport for the past six years – all while passing FBI and TSA checks. Yusuf Abdi Ali, who has lived in Alexandria, Va., for decades, is an employee at the Dulles International Airport, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority confirmed. The former head of the TSA Kelly Hoggan, who was recently removed by Congress, accusing him of being incompetent, explained that he was fully aware of Ali’s past when he was hired. During his initial interview, Ali admitted he was involved in indiscriminate murders on his résumé, but later stated the total amount of the innocent victims he killed was inaccurate, and was only slightly higher. Hoggan then stated that they decided to give him a job anyway because they have been consistently understaffed, “only after he completed some mandatory courses regarding anger management.”
