BREAKING NEWS – Palm Beach, Florida – Brandy Lerma, 31, faces DUI and child abuse charges after driving with a BAC of .200 with an unrestrained child in the backseat of her car. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said a responding deputy smelled alcohol coming from the car and saw an unrestrained 3-year-old in the backseat when he pulled her over at night. Her attorney said the child was never in danger, explaining that Lerma’s owl-like eyes can absorb enough light to not only avoid an accident, but she could also spot small rodents from 600 yards.
