BREAKING NEWS – Atlanta, Georgia – Stacey Abrams’ campaign filed a federal lawsuit asking a judge to delay vote certifications in Georgia’s unsettled governor’s race by one day and block counties from tossing some provisional and absentee ballots that may have minor mistakes on them. Brian Kemp, her Republican challenger, issued a statement a day earlier calling for Abrams to concede. Kemp has declared victory and said it is “mathematically impossible” for her campaign to force a runoff. “I have offered him a solution, but instead he wants to drag this thing out. I suggested that we co-govern. He makes the policy for all the white people in the state of Georgia, and I make all the policies for the black people. How is that unfair? And I don’t even take serious his position that it is ‘mathematically impossible’ for me to force a runoff. He’s either using a calculator that was made by white people, or he’s using a calculator that was made in China, South Korea, or Japan, and they always side with white people. I was considering having a meeting with Kemp, but I think it would be a waste of my time because he is so unreasonable.”
