BREAKING NEWS – Lake Nona,Florida – A former employee of Amazon in Florida is accused of stealing nearly $4,000 in merchandise and gift cards and shipping customers empty boxes. Authorities said Elvis Edgardo Soto, whose job was to pack items for shipping, took the stolen goods from the packaging line in a Lake Nona fulfillment center. Some of the stolen merchandise included several iPhone cases, an Apple Watch band, eyebrow pomade and a toy pony. He was arrested and faces felony third-degree grand theft. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the giant online store reluctantly admitted that one of their employees was a thief. But instead, they tried to convince the customers who received an empty box, that it should be given to a loved one, and tell the receiver that it is a unique gift comprised of genuine Amazon warehouse oxygen.
