BREAKING NEWS – San Diego, California – San Diego’s KUSI accused CNN of backing off a request for a local border wall perspective when the response was pro-wall and favored President Trump. KUSI is an independent station that is not an affiliate of a major broadcast network, accused CNN of an agenda-driven maneuver both on air and on its verified Twitter account. The network explained that it offered the services of veteran reporter Dan Plante, who has reported that the wall is effective. “Knowing this, CNN declined to have us on their programs, which often present the wall as not required in other places like the stretch of the Texas border the president visited,” Laurel said. “They didn’t like what they heard from us.” Jim Acosta lashed out at KUSI. “They were fully aware that a few days ago I looked like a complete fool, as I unwittingly proved the wall worked,” he began. “I desperately need something to regain my last shred of dignity. KUSI could have fabricated a hit piece against Trump and the wall, and I would’ve considered it professional courtesy. Instead, they made what CNN did public, exposing our well established biases. The only saving grace was, at least this time, our entire network looked like imbeciles, instead of just me.”
