BREAKING NEWS – Stamford, Connecticut – Chris Hansen, former host of NBC’s “To Catch a Predator,” was arrested on charges he wrote bad checks for $13,000 worth of marketing materials. In summer 2017, bought about $13,000 worth of promotional items, like hats, shirts and mugs from a local company, and paid for them with a check that bounced. In April of 2018, Hansen gave the business owner another check and that one bounced, too. After his arrest, he stated at a brief press conference, “Because I used to host ‘To Catch A Predator’, this incident does not make me a hypocrite. I do not harm women and children, I’m just a common thief.”
