BREAKING NEWS – Stockholm, Sweden – In a new book about Greta Thunberg, the Swedish climate activist’s family describes the teen’s struggles as a child, including selective mutism, an eating disorder and her autism diagnosis.
“She was slowly disappearing into some kind of darkness,” Greta’s mother, opera singer Malena Ernman, wrote in an excerpt of “Our House is on Fire: Scenes of a Family and a Planet in Crisis.”
“Currently, no one in our family can stand her,” explained Ernman. “We’re just glad she’s pushing this climate change B.S., so it’ll continue to keep her out of the house as much as possible, so we can avoid her giving all of us her daily contemptuous stare.”
