BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called out Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on the Senate floor for his controversial warning a day earlier that Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh would “pay the price” for decisions in abortion cases.
“There is nothing to call this except a threat,” McConnell said.
“I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price!” Schumer warned. “You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.” Schumer finally offered a reluctant emotional response. “Please understand my frustration,” the New York Senator began. “Trump beat us with the Russian collusion thing, the economy, the impeachment, and now it’s likely he’ll get reelected because he’ll be running against one of two idiots. We democrats have to win something.” His voice cracked as he wiped a tear from his eye as the volume of his voice increased dramatically. “I’m tired of losing! I’m tired of it! If that stupid witch would’ve campaigned in Wisconsin in 2016, she’d be president and none of this would be happening!” He then walked away from the microphone and immediately requested additional security, anticipating a possible lethal response from Hillary Clinton.
