BREAKING NEWS – Melbourne, Australia – Cardinal George Pell welcomed Australia’s highest court clearing him of child sex crimes. Pope Francis’ I former finance minister Pell had been the most senior Catholic found guilty of sexually abusing children and has spent 13 months in high-security prisons before seven High Court judges unanimously dismissed his convictions.
“I am glad this is over,” Pell said as he was exiting the prison. “I am not a pedophile and I never was. My stay in prison was very lonely, and right now I just need to be embraced and held tightly by people I care about.” He then got in his car and sped off to a local Boys Club.
