BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Joy Reid suggests Trump radicalizes supporters in the same way ‘Muslims act’.
MSNBC’s Joy Reid made the suggestion that Trump supporters are ‘radicalized’ by the president during a segment on her show.
Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich. have called on MSNBC anchor Joy Reid to apologize after she suggested that President Trump has radicalized his supporters in the same way that “Muslims act.”
In a joint letter from Omar and Tlaib, they stated:
“Dear Miss Reid,
“We are demanding an apology for your attack on Muslims. Sure, a lot of us like blowing things up, including people, and ourselves, but that doesn’t mean we’re radicalized. We are not afraid of you despite your masculine appearance, because we are not intimidated by muscles and broad shoulders. However, if you don’t say you’re sorry, some day soon, we just might greet while wearing an explosive bra, which can be purchased at any Victoria’s Secret in Syria or Iraq.”
