BREAKING NEWS – Chicago, Illinois – Chicago Teachers Union area vice president Sarah Chambers opposes requiring teachers to return to the classroom and posted a photo that appears to show her poolside in Puerto Rico.
“I got 4 covid tests (2 rapid, 2 PCR) b4 coming here [and] wore 2 masks (N95),” Chambers wrote on Twitter. “Whether I am sitting by a pool sipping a drink out of a coconut, or at the ocean’s shore, what difference does it make? I needed a break. I needed to be in a city where the windows of all the schools weren’t boarded up. Besides that, I’m not worried. Because at least 90% of the students in the Chicago area are illiterate, so I am not concerned about negative things written about me in the newspapers or Twitter… unless someone reads it to those imbeciles.”
