BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – CNN’s Alisyn Camerota left critics baffled when she suggested gun shop owners should attempt to diagnose the mental health of customers before allowing them to purchase a firearm, as some viewers didn’t think she was taking mental illness seriously and others thought her comments were “stupid, ignorant and elitist.”
The NRA then contacted CNN and asked them to address the mental health of their anchors.
CNN responded in a tweet the NRA and wrote, “Bullets kill people, not the misinformation spewed daily from our overpaid anchors and guests to our imbecilic viewers.”
