BREAKING NEWS – Key West. Florida – In an effort to fight insect-borne viruses like Zika, dengue fever and malaria, genetically modified mosquitoes are set to be released in the Florida Keys.

U.K.-based biotechnology company Oxitec has partnered with the Florida Keys Mosquito Control District in an effort to control the invasive and disease-spreading female Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in the region.

The National Organization of Women (NOW) is objecting to the science. “This is outrageous,” the feminine group explained. “This sexism is out of control! If the female mosquito is spreading a disease, she probably caught it from a promiscuous male mosquito, that duped her into believing that they were in an exclusive relationship. Something has to be done! First human women are being discriminated against, and now men are going after some real defenseless tiny b*****s!”
