BREAKING NEWS – Detroit, Michigan – Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was suspended for one game, and Detroit Pistons second-year player Isaiah Stewart was suspended for two games for their roles during an incident in a game between the two teams on Sunday night.
It is the first suspension of James’ Hall of Fame career, and he was handed a suspension “for recklessly hitting Stewart in the face and initiating an on-court altercation.”
“I don’t think the NBA had the right to suspend me,” James stated at a press conference. “For the most part, China owns the NBA, so my agent is going to appeal my suspension, and immediately submit the paperwork to Beijing.”
