BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Don Lemon labeled Jussie Smollett a liar just hours after the former “Empire” star was found guilty of staging a hate crime against himself in 2019.
During his CNN segment, Lemon said Smollett “had to make up too many lies” in order to explain the assault story he told police. “Before people call me a hypocrite, I acknowledge that we often lie on this network. However, we do it for the purpose of ratings and revenue, so it’s understandable corporate deception. But Smollett did it for his own selfish needs, and in my opinion that egocentric, narcissistic behavior was totally unacceptable.”
