BREAKING NEWS – Los Angeles, California – Susan Sarandon seemingly shared a message to Twitter comparing cops gathered to pay their respects to fallen NYPD officer Jason Rivera to fascists.
The original tweet showed a photo of police officers lining the New York City streets and read, “I’m gonna tell my kids this is what fascism looks like.”
Sarandon’s photo added the words, “So, if all these cops weren’t needed for CRIME that day, doesn’t that mean they aren’t needed ANY day?”
After receiving several death threats because of her tweet, over concerns for her safety, she contacted the police demanding their immediate protection.
