BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – An unearthed video of newly-minted New York City Mayor Eric Adams shows him using a racial slur in a talk on policing.
The 2019 video shows Adams speaking to a crowd at the Harlem Business Alliance about his rise through the ranks of the New York Police Department (NYPD).
“Every day in the police department, I kicked those crackers’ a–, man,” Adams said in the video reviewed by Fox News Digital. “I was unbelievable in the police department.”
Adams later stated at a press conference, there has been a misunderstanding. “When I said crackers back then, I wasn’t referring to white people, I was referring to Ritz Crackers,” he began. “That means I was referring to the ‘Ritz Carlton Hotel’, and their mediocre security. What I meant to say back then was, every day in the police department I was doing a better job than the security guards at the Ritz Crackers Hotel. I hope this clears everything up, and I apologize for the confusion.”
