BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams was mocked online after comparing herself and progressive Democrats to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his people fighting off a Russian invasion.
Abrams made the comparison while speaking with “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah on her second gubernatorial campaign.
“We are a stronger nation when we allow people to participate,” Abrams stated. “We’re picking up steam online.”
“I get the ‘steam’ reference,” responded Noah. “I say that because democrats all over the nation are in hot water, and will probably be getting the boot in the midterms.
Abrams looked at Noah with a sneer. “I don’t like your attitude,” she angrily said to him with clinched fists.
“I don’t like you or yours either,” responded Noah. “Now, do you think this second upcoming loss of you trying to become the governor of Georgia will hurt more than the first one, and will either of them hurt more than President Biden laughing in your face when you literally begged him to be his running mate?”
The show immediately went to a commercial after Abrams reached in her purse and pulled out a can of mace.
