BREAKING NEWS – Richmond, Virginia – As the COVID-19 pandemic recedes, Republicans in the Virginia House of Delegates narrowly passed a bill to protect churches from any “rule, regulation, or order” from the governor or another government agency, a move to block the government-ordered closure of houses of worship that took place during the pandemic.

Virginia state Sens. George Barker, Mamie Locke, Adam Ebbin, T. Montgomery Mason, Jennifer Boysko, John Bell and Ghazala Hasmi, all Democrats, voted to block the bill.

“We will continue our plan to discourage people from going to church,” said Senator Baker stated on behalf of himself and the other six senators. “We blame God for not stopping the pandemic, which in turn, allowed President Biden to make himself look like an imbecile on the world stage. Yes, we democrats are even more angry with God than usual, due to the Almighty not intervening to prevent Biden’s stupidity from being on full display to everyone on earth to see, including possible visitors from other planets.”
