BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – CNN’s Don Lemon was shut down by acting director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Hurricane Center Jamie Rhome, after he asked about the effect climate change had on Hurricane Ian.
“Listen, I’m just trying to get, you said you want to talk about climate change. But what effect does climate change have on this phenomenon that is happening now? Because it seems these storms are intensifying. That’s the question,” Lemon asked.
Rhome appeared to be agitated as he answered. “Ok, if you insist on going there, fine… maybe Mother Nature is tired of hosts on CNN advancing idiotic theories, and her goal is to ultimately have one of her destructive hurricanes make its way to your studio… while you in particular is on the air.”
