BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – “Outnumbered” panelists praised Republican presidential candidate Tim Scott for his “phenomenal” response to questioning about systemic racism on “The View.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin pressed Scott to define systemic racism, noting that he was the first African-American to be elected to the Senate in the South since Reconstruction. She called Scott and herself the “exception” but not the rule in America.
Scott then reminded Hostin that the U.S. has had an African-American president, vice president and two secretaries of state.
“That is a dangerous, offensive, disgusting message to send to our young people today that the only way to succeed is by being the exception,” Scott said.
According to a source that works for “The View”, during one of the commercials, Hostin was yelling at the producer “for allowing Scott to make her look like a complete idiot on national tv.” She then demanded either for the segment not to air, or edit it in away that makes it appear that Scott made Whoopi Goldberg look like a fool instead of her.
