Amazon.com said that it was cutting delivery routes short for drivers in places affected by poor air quality. They added that they plan on hiring “specialized drivers to deliver packages where the air is particularly bad, specifically former lifeguards that can hold the breath for up to two minutes, and for senior citizens who already have breathing issues, that already carry with them portable oxygen tanks.”
