BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – The Biden administration’s newest crackdown on home appliances, specifically water heaters and toasters, would take effect in 2029 if its regulatory proposal is enacted as it continues to implement its aggressive energy efficiency campaign.
“Hot showers and cold showers can equally get a person clean, because a bar of soap works at all temperatures,” explained White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. “And as far as toasters, they aren’t needed at all. If you leave a slice of bread out for a couple of days, it will be just as crunchy as a slice placed in a toaster for about a minute, and I believe it will be just as tasty.”
