BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan ridiculed New York City Mayor Eric Adams and called him a Donald Trump “knockoff” after the Big Apple leader warned the migrant crisis could “destroy” the city.
“Let me tell you something, New Yorkers. Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to. I don’t see an ending to this. I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City,” Adams said during a Town Hall meeting on the Upper West Side. “We’re getting 10,000 migrants a month.”
“‘We should protect our immigrants.’ Period,” Adams wrote Oct. 21, 2020. “Yes, New York City will remain a sanctuary city under an Adams administration. #EriconNBC.”
“My response to what I said three years ago, is a simple one,” stated Adams. “The governor down there has no idea what we are going through by flooding us with an unfair burden of immigrants. I hope one day, it happens to his state too.”
