BREAKING NEWS – Minneapolis, Minnesota – A Democratic Party leader thanked the Minneapolis police and pushed to prosecute youths “running wild” after she was carjacked, despite previous support for dismantling the department. Back in June of 2020 she wrote, “We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department. Say it with me. DISMANTLE. The. Minneapolis. Police. Department,” she wrote.
Shivanthi Sathanandan, the 2nd Vice Chairwoman for the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, posted on Facebook that she was “violently carjacked” by “four very young men, all carrying guns.”
“I’m now part of the statistics,” explained Sathanandan, “We need to, catch these young people who are running wild creating chaos across our city. I still want to defund the police, but only after they have caught the thugs that carjacked me. Then after that, I will demand some major cutbacks in law enforcement!”
