BREAKING NEWS – Tampa, Florida – A Florida restaurant owner is taking matters into his own hands after a series of dine-and-dashers targeted his Tampa restaurant — by outing them on social media and confronting them face-to-face.
Rick’s on the River owner Ken Brackins detailed why he posted videos of the perpetrators online.
“We use this as also a deterrent,” stated Brackins. “We’re not really trying to… get the money as much as use as a deterrent.”
“The owner of the restaurant should be arrested for what he is doing,” tweeted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “What he’s doing, is publicly humiliating people who were hungry, and trying to save a little bit of money, by not paying. To me, the fleeing customers were exercising some basic financial/survival instincts, and what’s wrong with that?”
