BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – A new report is shedding light on the “shattered friendships” between Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav and his ousted CNN employees, particularly the liberal network’s ex-president, Jeff Zucker.
The New York Times offered a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes drama that took place at the liberal network as Zaslav, who had been running Discovery before his company had merged with WarnerMedia, which included CNN with Zucker at its helm, in 2022.
“In a call with Mr. Licht after a meeting, Mr. Zaslav belittled Mr. Zucker as a weakling who had tears in his eyes,” the Times reported. “He was on the floor crying and screaming loud like a toddler having a temper tantrum, literally begging for his mommy,” Zaslav was quoted as saying. “It had gotten so bad, that I actually called his mother, and Jeff calmed down after his mother came he to my office and gave him some Legos and a train set to play with on the floor, if he promised to stop whining.”
