BREAKING NEWS – Dolton, Illinois – Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard is facing another hurdle after a lawsuit accuses her of discriminating against a church.
Redeemed Christian Church of God Resurrection Power Assembly alleges the mayor and the village failed to apply Dolton’s zoning code by preventing the church from renovating the building it purchased.
Henyard responded to the church’s complaint. “I didn’t apply the zoning code, because that particular church didn’t give me the tithe that I demanded,” she began. “And secondly, due to the bible saying that the love of money is the root of all evil, I will continue to spend every penny I can out of the treasury, to remove that temptation from the wicked trustees. I am saving those people from the fiery pits of hell, and those Judas ingrates don’t appreciate it!”
