I saw a friend of mine who was really depressed because he has failed again to get a job on Wall Street. I never think it’s a good idea to shatter a person’s dreams, but I had to tell him that his assumption is wrong, that just because he has cut the bushes in his backyard for years, no investment firm will conclude he is extremely knowledgeable of hedge funds.
