A childhood friend of mine that is now a career criminal, got himself into a lot trouble recently. He shoplifted some footwear from a store and assumed at the most he’d get charged with is petty larceny. However, since he had the items when he crossed state lines, the U.S. Attorney charged him with socks trafficking.
