A few years ago, a friend of mine had dinner with a lady on a blind date. According to him, back then women often asked him to take them on a spending spree, even though he hardly knew them, and he was very turned off by that mindset. But he said this woman was different, because she didn’t bring up money on the first date, or second, or third, and never did. In fact, she said she hated going to malls. He said he was so impressed that she wasn’t materialistic. He found out later why she didn’t like going to malls. It was because she was banned from every local outlet due to the fact that she got arrested at all of them for shoplifting. Fortunately for him, the following month he was able to buy back all the things she had stolen from him and pawned, after she secretly made and extra key to his apartment.
