I recently went to the Library of Congress, just to get a single question answered. Because I have often heard people say that they have been called “every name in the book”, I wanted to find out if they had an official book of name calling. The librarian said she was unaware if it existed, but if it did, it would probably be used by both husband and wife during divorce proceedings. Yeah, that sounds about right.
