Anytime I see someone stranded on the side of the road because their car broke down, if I have the time, I usually pull up behind them. I would get out of my car and ask them if there was anything I can do, to discourage people from buying the kind of car they were driving. Even though 100% of the people I encountered responded angrily, I still think my question was relevant and respectful.
