babbling-brook-small

Last week I really embarrassed myself in front of some of my friends while were hiking through a forest. As we approached a stream that was no more about five feet wide and appeared to be a couple of feet deep, I took my shoes off and was the first one to attempt to cross it. To my shock it was about ten feet deep and I sank straight down. As I came to the surface and everyone was laughing at me, I learned a valuable lesson, which is, never judge a brook by its cover. (Pathetic ain’t it).
