After all these years, a lady that I have been trying to date is starting to warm up to me. About three months ago I asked her for a date, and she said “never”, followed by three exclamation points. Yesterday she said “never”, followed by just one exclamation point. Yep, finally empirical proof that I’m slowly winning her over. (People may think I’m delusional, but it hasn’t gotten to the point where my friends and family have gotten together to exchange ideas on the best way to have me institutionalized again).
